When I get problems or seriously bad news like today… my body tends to respond the same way a mountain gorilla in Bwindi would…
My first instincts are to run and secondly to respond to a sudden urge to respond to a rather abrupt bowel movement…(am telling you, it’s crazy but thanks to a recent vegan diet its also a very smooth ride… fiber fiber FIBER).
Wish I could just huff my problems away. Guess to get a handle on any problem one first has to get perspective. The way you see things determines to a great extent the success you will have with dealing with them. (years of self-help books finally paying off...). You see a mountain, I see an adventure to conquer. You see a roadblock, I see an opportunity to test my people skills (hey you don’t get far in life by always playing nice. Once in a while you have to do what you have to do…).
Well waiting for the afternoon to see how my brother's little run in with the law works out. When it comes to things you can’t change it takes a great discipline to realize that really there is not that much you can do. (i do like to try… sometimes it does make you feel better).
here i am trying to keep an open mind. (hoping for the best and preparing for the worst).
